MOLD MICROSTRUCTURING FOR LIGHTING

Because of the “cold ablation” of the laser, we can create microstructures absolutely burr-free, with very good tolerances, perfectly defined and with very sharp edges. We can achieve smaller radius than ever. This capacity let us create microstructures to get benefit on the light behaviour.

Purposes of microstructuring:

  • Opening light angle
  • Improve homogeneity
  • Increase light intensity
  • Change light direction
  • Etc.


MOLD TEXTURING

We can texturize mold to achieve amazing results in terms of design or to reach some functionality like homogeneous light diffusion, controlled light diffusion, etc.

Functional texturing for light diffusion: homogeneous diffusion and controlled light diffusion in 1D or 2D.
